Itinerary

8 days across three locations

Sun Oct 4 — Paro
Arrival & check-in at Lhayhuel Resort, visit Paro Farmer's Market, welcome yoga session with Anna, cultural dinner & traditional performance
Mon Oct 5 — Punakha
Morning practice, transfer to Punakha Valley, tour Thimphu including the great Buddha Dordenma, Dochula Pass, and the Temple of Fertility
Tue Oct 6 — Punakha
Morning practice, Punakha Dzong, Bhutan's longest suspension bridge, community lunch in Nobgang village, Buddhist prayer ceremony at the Nunnery
Wed Oct 7 — Punakha
Morning practice, scenic hike to Khamsum Chorten, optional whitewater rafting on the Mochu River, riverside picnic lunch
Thu Oct 8 — Return Paro
Morning practice, transfer via ancient fortress & one of Bhutan's last surviving iron chain bridges, heritage lunch in Thimphu
Fri Oct 9 — Paro
Morning practice, National Museum, optional hike to Zuri Dzong overlooking Paro Valley, free time in town, optional visit to Kyichu Lhakhang
Sat Oct 10 — Tiger's Nest
Morning practice, iconic hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), traditional dinner at Ugyen Homestay with optional hot stone bath
Sun Oct 11 — Departure
Final morning practice & breakfast, transfers to Paro International Airport
